Neomi Gruntman.

Becoming a mother soon after moving to a new continent showed me just how important a strong support system really is. Over the years, raising my own children and caring for other families’ babies and toddlers within a close-knit, multicultural community of mothers, I found myself drawn to doula work. It felt like a natural way to bring together my empathy, experience, and desire to support families during such a meaningful time in their lives.

My own journey through pregnancy and birth has had its share of twists. An emergency C-section followed by two VBACs, so I understand firsthand how unpredictable this path can be. I also experienced postpartum anxiety and challenges with breastfeeding early on, and I know how much of a difference it makes to have the right support. Those experiences, along with the care I received from other women, are a big part of what inspires me to do this work.

Before becoming a doula, I worked in academic research, which taught me how to find and share reliable, evidence-based information. I bring that into my practice so you can feel informed and confident in the choices you make for yourself and your family.

I’m fluent in English, Hebrew, and Hungarian, and my experience living in different countries has given me a strong appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. I feel comfortable supporting a wide range of families and meeting them where they are.
